11.09.2009

wondering if i have sentenced me to death.

10.29.2009

Had the pleasure of Dan, Lynn and Claire Bruce popping in on their way to Franklin, TN - in which Logan, Roy, Harris, Claire and I made a midnight Bryan's-chili-finding expedition to Kroger and proceeded to make fun with grocery carts, camera, and cakes.

10.28.2009

A beautiful day in the neighborhood in which I did something I almost never do and studied for a test a week in advance and to top it all off I won a contest over at the Beehive, and to top all that off, the Phillies whooped the Pinstripes in Game 1 of the World Series tonight!

10.27.2009

This week I got my second wing in school which I badly needed - I am remotivated to secure an A in each of my classes for this, my last semester.

10.26.2009

Over the course of the weekend, my laptop was finally overtaken with a disease that has been relentlessly attacking it and BASICALLY what it did was kill the receiver for the battery cord - which means that replacing the battery won't help and replacing the cord won't help, which means that I might have to buy a new computer, but more distressingly is the fact that there is stuff on my laptop I need access to but it won't even turn on!!!!

10.22.2009

I am discovering Antonio Vivaldi and really really like his music. VIVA LA VIVALDI!

10.21.2009

Mediocrely performed on a test, Granny celebrated 90 years of life, Brother Guna preached tonight, and Michael Jones presented himself for membership in the church (which we enthusiastically approved), - a very good day.

10.20.2009

That being said, something about being a loss-prevention officer who can't pursue loss-inhibitors doesn't quite make sense. I suppose, as the trite saying says, " your presence is present enough."

This might surprise you, but I would side with Walmart on this, inasmuch as I would defend the no-chase policy. The gent said "If he'd pull a knife on two security guards, he'd pull a knife on anyone." Maybe, but it's quite apparent that he pulled the knife only because you chased him. It being a non-rehirable offense might be pretty stiff, but I'm not going to spend any more brain time deciding that point.

10.15.2009

Over the Smokeys and through the Bluegrass to Cincy Ohio I go....

10.14.2009

When I get a place of my own, I will make one wall in the house a whiteboard - you know, the kind for which you use dry-erase markers?

10.13.2009

I am depressed by my blog when I go over to beatrice's - it makes me want to give up sentencing you to death.

10.12.2009

wrote 5 letters in the last 36 hours - wonderful stuff!

10.08.2009

studied a lot and watched baseball playoffs

10.07.2009

Baesball playoffs are here!!! ::and there was GREAT rejoicing::

10.06.2009

Went with Bro Zack to see Sis. Nell, who was doing relatively well, and then went to the Choral Sampler at school, afterwhich many of us watched Wait Until Dark at Joe's.

10.05.2009

Led devotion for school lads and lassies in lieu of Bro. Zack who was out of town for the morning; engaged in my first Toastmasters meeting at school, ran 4 miles, Symphony Chorus, stayed up till 12 on the phone when I was planning on going to bed at 10.

10.01.2009

Today the carhop at Sonic told me after seeing me several times she finally figured out who I reminded her of, which is odd, because I hadn't been to Sonic in probably a month - I remind her of "the lead guy in Twilight."

9.30.2009

I'll say Tim Guess's preaching is getting better and better.

9.29.2009

I look forward to meeting William Billings in heaven - how happy must be to no longer be crippled!

9.28.2009

Went with Brother Zack to visit Sister Nell who is one of the most amazing people I know - she couldn't stop saying good things about the Lord and while she is staring death in the face, she ain't afraid one iota.

9.24.2009

man this was a good day - positive thinking does wonders!

9.23.2009

"I'm going to forgive for Christ's sake. See, that's the domino that won't fall - forgiveness thwarts Satan's plans!" - Elder Mark Hasenmeyer

9.22.2009

Went to Joes with Dominos and watched the Memphis Redbirds lose an extra-innings heart-breaker in the AAA-Baseball National Championship.

9.21.2009

ran 20 minutes - the official beginning of my training for the race in December - and watched monday night football with joe and michael over a lager and steak.

9.17.2009

Been studying all day for my first test of the semester - it's in Strategic Management, if you care to know - teach gave us a pool of about 210 mc questions covering three chapters from which 30 or 40 will be selected for the test; if you allow enough time to study them all (which I have accomplished moderately well) it's really a pretty good way to go.

9.16.2009

Being at peace with God is an element of sanctification and Isaiah says in chapter 53 that "the chastisement of our peace was upon him" which tells me that Christ's death on the cross affected not only our permanent salvation, but also has far-reaching effects into our daily lives - we may be assured God is interested in the details of our lives.

9.15.2009

Leno, don't think you win because you get to host a touching story of apologetics. No, you are playing host to an ego-stroking show, starring Jay Leno as The Stroker and Kanye West as The Ego.

People, don't be fooled by Kanye's semantics. You think he is admitting post-fact "I know it was wrong" and "it was rude" because he is interested in making things right? Forget it - its a slap-in-the-face to the public for him to imply he didn't realize it was the wrong thing to do until after-the-fact. He is either slapping you in the face or he is proving to himself to have the maturity of a child - or both. Apologizing is the next act in the Ego play and he will keep saying it as long as it gets him in the spotlight. Leno should win Best Supporting Actress.

9.14.2009

I was going to post some deep thoughts tonight, but I ran out of time - so instead, I am studying Quantitative Tools.
I very happily announce that my phone decided to commence working yesterday, so we all good - furthermore, we got a ton of rain today, and I am actually going to start doing homework regularly as of tonight.

9.11.2009

Went to a Memphis Redbirds game tonight with Daddy, Harris and Joe, and they won, thereby sealing a spot in the PCL Championship Series!

9.10.2009

My phone is partially dysfunctional and replacing it would cost $50 because the warranty is expired- I am not very happy about this.

9.09.2009

Who am I, Lord, that thou art mindful of me?

9.08.2009

The Rangers won 2 games and the Cardinals won theirs - it's been a good day!

9.07.2009

Came home from Arkansas where Sarah Green married Brad Irby, played a whoppin good game of Hearts with Aunt Pam, Rebekah and Logan, and after getting home mowed the yard and played basketball with the guys and watched Fracture with Anthony Hopkins.

9.03.2009

I can imagine that Kevin Costner has a really good tenor singing voice.

9.02.2009

At our birthday party Ethan and I, along with Dan and Logan sang this.

9.01.2009

Since my present and mandatory schedule prohibits me from being in Singers this semester, I opted to join the Memphis Symphony Chorus (meeting only once a week, instead of 3 times for Singers), which will be collaborating with the University Singers on two occasions, so I reckon it's the next best thing.

8.31.2009

Bought and wore these today...I think they speak for themselves.

8.30.2009

Tomorrow will commence a semester-long fast in which I will not drink a Dr. Pepper until I graduate college on December 19th.

8.27.2009

I would like to go deep-sea diving, sky diving, and fly in an ultralight.

8.26.2009

En route to Little Rock airport en route to Dallas I stopped at the Pilot in West Memphis, whereupon I noticed an elderly man a pump down from me whose car's bumper-sticker and whose hat suggested him to be an Iwo Jima veteran of now 60 years and so understanding, was impressed to meet him and so, extending the right hand of fellowship, I put my left hand on his shoulder and first expressed my favorite hobby of reading books on American military history and then more importantly and to the point extended my remarkable and sincerest gratitude for his service for our country, and intentionally avoided saying I appreciated his sacrifice because I knew he would in his mind reply to such a remark "this poor, innocent boy knows not of what he speaks," and then offered my thankfulness that there were still people like him around that we could talk to in person, and he replied, with an almost inaudible chuckle which spoke suppressed sorrow for the loss of his comrades, "well, there's not many of us around anymore" - and as soon as I drove off I hit myself on the head, wishing I had offered to at least buy for him his gas.

8.25.2009

Listened to 2 and a half hours of David Pyles from our July Meeting at work today.

8.24.2009

Saw Star Trek with Ryan, which was a very entertaining, and then we ate supper at Dixie Cafe and then I went to bed too late.

8.23.2009

Dan and Caitlin were in town this weekend and Ethan and I threw a birthday party (well our moms did, really) and we played croquet which was a blast, and we ate ice cream cake and sang barbershop and played the guitar and watched Herbie the Love Bug and drank Dr. Pepper - yes, I did all those things.

8.22.2009

From the New York Post: "The state's first black governor yesterday blamed his political woes -- and those of President Obama -- on a white-dominated media that he accused of taking part in an "orchestrated" attack campaign. "We're not in the post-racial period," Paterson said in a freewheeling interview on the liberal talk-radio station WWRL. "My feeling is it's being orchestrated, it's a game, and people who pay attention know that."(cite)

Well they elected you didn't they? I guess if they hadn't elected you, they would have been guilty of racism. But they did. Now you are getting heat, so that's racism. I guess it would only be fair for them to give you a free pass - you are, after all, black. But wait, that would be racism wouldn't it? Giving you a free pass just because you are black? Even if they did, and then you don't get re-elected, I suppose you will say it was because racism is still alive and well in the state of NY and a qualified black man can't get a job just because of his color. Well I agree, that would be unjust. But equally unjust is giving an unqualified black man a job just because of his color.

8.21.2009

Be not fooled my dear fellow music listeners - talking about God in your song does not alone entitle you to the holy status of Christian.

8.20.2009

baseball is great to watch if you are needing to unwind from a crazy day - unless its close in the 9th inning.

8.19.2009

well, today is the 22nd anniversary of my birth - if anybody should be celebrated it should be Mama.

8.18.2009

"The Clinton-era law denies federal recognition of gay marriage and gives states the right to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states. " (cite)

The moment I read "gives states the right..." my top almost blew off - Uncle Sam does not give any rights to the states! This thinking is mirror-opposite to the intent of our founding fathers, and moreover as such thinking has snailed its way into the public thoughts-streams it has opened the door inch by inch to what we are now facing in full-blown socialism by the present administration. The fed doesn't give rights to the states! The states give rights to the fed and assume all the rest! It is inevitable, as the history of man is proving, that the totally depraved man will tend toward the that which promotes and glorifies self - which is, in this case, power, power, power. The totally depraved man will also not think twice about securing his power at the expense of happyness in the human experience - even his own, and especially that of others.

8.17.2009

I'm so ticked off by something I read today in the political spectrum, I can't even blog about it.

8.13.2009

VOTE BEN FERGUSON FOR MEMPHIS MAYOR!

8.12.2009

Based on my weight and each item's caffeine content, I learned via this handy-dandy website how many of the following it would take to put me under - very useful to know, you know:

8.10.2009

Flirting on Facebook is like hiding behind the skirts of a woman - its for children - so if the shoe fits, wear it.

8.09.2009

It was good and very good to see my brother Derrick today.

8.08.2009

Ian Fleming has surely contributed to the watering-down of our country's moral fiber.

8.07.2009

played some pipes, sang rip 'n snort, partied with the B-homes.

8.06.2009

Today, whilst at work, I bathed my eardrums in the music of 41 songs by Chicago.

8.03.2009

Don Knotts was just amazing in Ghost and Mr. Chicken - a top notch act indeed.

8.02.2009

Conviction is not the same as repentance - we are called to the latter.

mowed and weed-eated our yard the Tims; watched Bourne Identity, went to the theatre and watched Terminator, came home and watched Taken; came to the Greens for the night.

Nathan's birthday party to celebrate his life of 20 years in which party we played basketball, ate food, and sang hymns.

7.27.2009

Had a good time bowling with Seth, Nathan, Logan, Roy, Harris and Jeremy, and got some Wranglers in the mail today which I bought on eBay.

7.23.2009

I slept in the camper but not before I managed to break a fluorescent bulb and whilst sweeping the breakage with my hand (don't say it, I already know), inevitably issued my left pinky a deep slice into the muscle portion of the lower phalange area by virtue of broken glass's tendency to be of an incisive character, resulting in the spewing forth of a strange red fluid which I hear is typically referred to, in the sane world, as C3032 H4316 O780 N780 S8 Fe4 - or simply, blood.

7.22.2009

The reverend was on fire tonight; and Hitler went to hell!

7.21.2009

rain, rain, rain. rain.

7.20.2009

Used a chainsaw for the first time today (yes, that is somewhat embarrassing, even though I live in M'town) but it will most assuredly not be the last - it was a great experience.

7.19.2009

Tonight I had an unusually strong urge to revive my facebook account and tried for the longest time to justify it in my mind but I always came back to thinking "how can I who have denounced fb to be the playground of Belzeebub..." (not withstanding my defence of responsible fb users) - if you have any ideas, please share.

7.18.2009

Got a WHOLE LOT of work accomplished at the church house in preparation for our annual meeting next week!

7.17.2009

My first impressions of Daughtry's new album "Leave this Town (which boasts a hand-picked band, unlike his first release I think) after a couple turns:" He is settling into his full-fledged rock calling, and, while I am no connoisseur of rock music, he sounds pretty good - I will probably keep listening to him as long as he keeps singing and not yelling (plus, he writes all his own music).

7.16.2009

Maybe one day using exclamation points will not feel ingenuine like it sometimes does now.

7.09.2009

Went to a Redbirds game with Joe, Michael, Seth and James - kept a scorecard and we won 4-2.

7.08.2009

Good to be back at Grace Chapel.

7.07.2009

Tonight in Risk, Seth attacked me in a huge battle and I defeated 10 armies of his in a row - I don't think I have ever done that before.

7.06.2009

Harris, Dave and I left town an hour after I got off work on Thursday, returning home this morning in time for me to be at work an hour late - during that time we drove across three states (Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia), spent the night with three very dear families (Blevins, Fulmers, Pritchetts) and drove 950 miles - what a weekend.

7.01.2009

Other than learning I have to shell out 135 worhless USDs to repair my car, I had a pretty good day - including washing my car, which was filthy from camp!

6.30.2009

Played basketball on the slab with the boys for the first time in a couple months - great stuff.

6.29.2009

6.27.2009

Weed-eated and mowed for 3 hours and then crashed.

6.26.2009

Fireworks, barbershop chords for hymns, Sacred Harp at 1am, talking till 5 with friends - oh, what a life!

6.25.2009

Cap-and-trade for carbon emissions is a damnable invention - when you get down to it, it just serves as another source of citizens'-throat-strangling income for the fed - damnable.

6.24.2009

What's worse than jamming your finger at Camp? - Not even have the opportunity to, because you can't be there!!!!

6.23.2009

Logan and I went to the theatre and saw State of Play with Russell Crowe and it was a moderately good flick.

6.22.2009

6.06.2009

I am going on vacation for a couple weeks - so is this blog.

6.05.2009

Confuseled myself into buying a new pair of shades for next week, even though I don't really need them.

I lived today.

6.03.2009

Wrote out the first page of my song in legible do-re-mis...whew.

6.02.2009

frustration - sadness - these are very real feelings - so is happiness!

6.01.2009

Was joined by Harris, Roy, Seth and Nathan and went to Camp to work for a few hours - I love Camp.

5.31.2009

Essentially finished the hymn and recorded me singing it in four parts (click here to listen) so as to give some idea of what a group of voices will do to it - the words are by Isaac Watts as follows:

My God, the spring of all my joys,
The life of my delights,
The glory of my brightest days,
And comfort of my nights.

In darkest shades if he appear
My dawning is begun;
He is my soul's sweet morning star,
And he my rising sun.

The op’ning heav’ns around me shine
With beams of sacred bliss,
While Jesus shows his heart is mine,
And whispers I am his.

My soul would leave this heavy clay
At that transporting word,
Run up with joy the shining way,
T’ embrace my dearest Lord.

Fearless of hell and ghastly death,
I’d break through ev’ry foe;
The wings of love, and arms of faith
Should bear me conqu’ror through.

5.30.2009

Rode with the Guesses to witness Dr. Benjamin Rogers and Amanda Autrey's wedding and ate some cake.

5.29.2009

I began to compose my first Sacred Harp-style hymn.

5.28.2009

Out of 15+ adult men and women playing limbo, ROY won - congratualtions, it was a sight to behold.

5.27.2009

I am ever convinced that certain good music combined with good lyrics is a blessing of God which he purposed to nourish the soul.

5.26.2009

A week reprieve and feeling fresh as a daisy ought to put me back on the map of digital civilization!

5.19.2009

This is just cool.....

Piggly Wiggly was the first to:

provide checkout stands.
price mark every item in the store.
feature a full line of nationally advertised brands.
use refrigerated cases to keep produce fresher longer.
put employees in uniforms for cleaner, more sanitary food handling.
design and use patented fixtures and equipment throughout the store.
give shoppers more for their food dollar through high volume/low profit margin retailing.
franchise independent grocers to operate under the self-service method of food merchandising.

5.12.2009

I love to read - a lot. ("there's a double meaning in that!")

5.11.2009

It may be useful to know that it is very difficult for a perfectionist to trim a hedge well.

5.10.2009

To cap off a splendid weekend (in which, for one, I had no anticipation of going back to school when over) We enjoyed the preaching of my first-cousin-once-removed Elder Phillip Green - speaking of elder, it just coccured to me how funny it would be if someone's first name was "Elder" and he got ordained...

5.09.2009

Congratulations Seth and Rebekah for completing your bachelor's degree and for a splendid celebration party last night!

5.08.2009

Worked, read 50 pages in John Adams, babysat Kyle, watched a little basketball - commenced a new blog you should check out.

5.07.2009

For Kathryn's birthday we enjoyed an evening of Fiddler on the Roof at the Orpheum, starring Topol himself - it was magnificant!

5.06.2009

Tonight, we had the distinct pleasure of being under the sound of Elder Dwayne Shafer's preaching.

5.05.2009

Goodnight school.

5.04.2009

My first 8-hour day at ACH since last summer and my mp3 player had the guts to quit on me - however, it was nothing compared to the wonderful fact that I read 120 pages in John Adams, which puts me at 170/651.

5.03.2009

An exceeding goodly day.

5.02.2009

Had a really good day in the gospel according to St. Matthew.
Worked a full day at ACH for the first time since August - ready or not here I come!

4.30.2009

Came across this excellent sentence constructed by my cousin, Laura K. Green: "The coincidence of these two facts is falsely correlated in a cause and effect relationship."

4.29.2009

This is what I want for my birthday: Bruni Mago Ostrich

4.28.2009

Only one more day of classes!!!

4.27.2009

Only three things left - a paper and test on Thursday, and a test Tuesday week and I am DONE!!!!

4.26.2009

Today I learned how to flip stuff in a pan (specifically sauteed mushrooms), compliments of Jeremy Fulmer, and it so SO MUCH FUN!

4.25.2009

Eloquently spoken tonight: the Word of God is our salvation.

4.24.2009

Goin to Ripley for Creation Weekend!

4.23.2009

I like working at ACH a goodly bit.

4.22.2009

Studying for my biggest test left - not so much fun.

4.21.2009

News of the Day: I am going to Harmony Hill...all week!

4.20.2009

Sometimes God, in His mercy, extends an expression of his everlasting love and grants his children the refreshing experience of living a Very Happy Day and today He granted such to moi for which I am ever so grateful.

4.19.2009

Bro. Zack's sermon on the Word of God enthused me, and Bro. Tony Martin's ordination to the office of deacon was super.

4.18.2009

WOW - this morning I completed a half-marathon in Jackson, TN and had a blast doing it - read more about it on my running blog; we also performed the wonderful work of Joseph Haydn - my last Singers concert - and it was a smashing success!

4.17.2009

This has been a day of resting my legs for the race in the morning, and rehearsing Haydn's Creation tonight in prep for the concert tomorrow night.

4.16.2009

I can really see the light at the end of the semester tunnel now that tonight's presentation is over.

4.15.2009

ho hum and a bottle of rum.

4.14.2009

I am finally feeling the academic pressure of the next two days and I just need to take a few deep breaths.

4.13.2009

I did very little today - hopefully tomorrow I will be 100%.

4.12.2009

The sickies caught up with me today about lunch time so I have been sitting around watching the Masters, listening to music, thinking about doing some homework but being pretty sure I am not up to the job, and generally not feeling great - so I think I will go to bed early tonight.

4.11.2009

Study at school for few hours, play basketball, help Tim with his Toyota's "better than everyone else" oil filter, read Elijah not one but TWO Dr. Seuss books (Green Eggs and Ham, Dr. Seuss's ABCs), eat Taco Bell, study at school for a few hours, look at some sweet pics take by Bro. Jodie Wyle, listen to the future Bluegrass Album of the Year...

4.10.2009

Yard work, Choir, basketball, Buffalo Wild Wings, Movie, Sleep, Dream of the congregation singing Sacred Harp at GC - that was an amazing song service.

4.09.2009

I got back two scores today - 94 on my persuasive speech; 78 on global logistics test, but it turned into a 90 mysteriously, so I am a very happy camper right now.

4.08.2009

Pastor Guess was at church tonight - by far the highlight of the day - and although he looked like he had been awake for 30 hours (which he had), he was in tip top spirits and we were all so very glad to see him home.

4.07.2009

Internet at our house has not been for close to a week now and while it is inconvenient on occasion, I fancy it quite well for a moderate duration of time - only because, no doubt, I can go to the church building or the Guesses or school, if I really must access the world wide web.

4.06.2009

Many wonderful things happened today including receiving the news that I almost surely can work full-time at ACH Food Companies this summer (huge answer to pray), running 9 miles (and feeling very confident about the half-marathon in two weekends), feeling about 90% good about my bus comm test, and buying Roy's birthday present which I gave to him tonight (a big "architectural wonders of the world"-type book.)

4.05.2009

Bro Tim Cannon preached this morning: "Behold the Lamb of God" and it was really really excellent; then Bro Tim Guess rounded out the day tonight with a sermon on infant/believers baptism.

I took the day off from school and did other things. Starting Saturday, hopefully, I will begin preparations for the coming happenings in the next week and especially the next.

4.02.2009

We enjoyed a terrific rain storm today, and I was outside when the sun broke through, and boy, it was like an out-of-focus picture becoming pristinely in-focus, with rich colours galore - I am inclined to believe its presence was glorifying to God.

4.01.2009

Today has felt busy, because, while I have actually contributed very little to the progress of any assignments, I have done the important thing of getting my schedule of deadlines, due dates, and all those type things worked out in my mind as far as when I need to work on what - and that is extremely important for me to have cleared up in my mind.

3.31.2009

Having been questioned on two separate occasions today each by a Fulmer girl as to the howity of my day, I am very rehearsed in the contemplation thereof, so can with ease inform you, dear reader, that I, while enduring some affecting trials of my closest friends, have completed a useful day in that I finished Mansfield Park, mowed the church yard, ripped through yet another amazing speech in oral comm, spent more money since sunrise than I did all last week, updated the bracket challenge, and synced my calendars (which you no doubt know is extremely relieving).

3.30.2009

My last game with the Brethren played out tonight in a 9-point loss, though we played very well, and with the support of my team mates I scored 30 of the team's 50 points, knocking down 6 threes and shooting 2-2 from the charity stripe - a good way to go out.

3.29.2009

The Lord richly blessed this day in which Grace Chapel received a powerful message about the Holy Spirit from Elder Isaac Guess, and God blessed me in some prayer time.

3.28.2009

Some great games of basketball accompanied by the now rare appearance of Isaac Guess, a muy bien choir concert tonight at which both my grandparents were present, which, being a very rare occasion, was especially treatfull, and afterwards enjoying some grilled foods at Joes and watching The Fugitive, made for a very pleasant day.

3.27.2009

Dan came yesterday to enjoy some March Madness with us, we have played some great basketball games today and Seth, Dan and I went to the Sweet 16 games here in Memphis tonight - A very good day!

3.25.2009

I took a very deep 30 minute nap today and I don't think I moved an inch - I haven't done that in a looong time.

3.24.2009

Today has been a day of getting significant things done like...running four miles, weed-eating and mowing the yard, reading a good portion in Mansfield Park, purchasing tickets with Seth and Dan for the South Regional games here in Memphis (it will be so much fun!!!), relishing in a tasty Fuzzy Navel/Cherry flavored Jerry's Sno Cone, and reminding myself that I need to complete my taxes.
A good day, except for going 1-500 from the 3-pt line tonight.

3.22.2009

Song services today were wonderful and so was the eating/fellowship gathering at the Guesses tonight, because Sister Judy's South of the Border is out of this world mmm mmm good!

I predicted a 21-point Tiger win versus Maryland - we won by 19.

Roy increased his coolness when he showed me his True Perspective drawing, and since he is going to teach me how to do it, and can one day be cool like him.

3.17.2009

Mansfield Park is very well NEAR captivating me.

3.16.2009

I scored 21 points (5 threes) tonight in a losing effort for the Brethren, but we played one of our best games offensively of the season.

3.15.2009

This week I saw the highs and lows of man's achievments and neither brings happiness like the House of the Lord.

3.14.2009

The Memphis Tigers win yet another C-USA championship ho hum diddle dee dee.

3.13.2009

The Logan and Roberta Green constituency is blossoming exponentially such that I could hardly walk without stepping on a little toe or finger.

3.11.2009

Saw the Bellagio, the Mirage, and the MGM Grand today, (the three casinos heisted in Ocean's 11), and they were magnificent - especially the first.

It is refreshing to see that some young people still cherish their time with their grandparents.

I just watched the best episode of 24 I have ever seen - bar none.

3.02.2009

I applied for 19 business scholarships today and if I get one it will be a success.

3.01.2009

Brother Timothy's ability as a gospel preacher is growing mightily, and we are indeed priviledged to be benefiting therefrom.

Introduction

This blog is not for comprehensive purposes. It is merely an exercise in writing. My sentence will describe the highlight of the day (or one of them) from my perspective. It could be glad, sad, rad or bad. The good thing is that I have read a lot of Miss Austen, so I am well versed in the art of long sentences. Just in case :-). I will begin on March 1.
JESUS CHRIST IS MY HERO.
