That being said, something about being a loss-prevention officer who can't pursue loss-inhibitors doesn't quite make sense. I suppose, as the trite saying says, " your presence is present enough."

  1. Yeah, I see Walmart's side of things theoretically speaking (liability is king of the world, after all), but now every thief in the country knows that if he can just make it to the parking lot with his Walmart loot, it's all his. Let's watch what happens next. This should be fun.

It's just a variation on a Walmart theme, if you ask me. Walmart thrives on emasculation of men. First they wrecked the livelihood of men who owned stores in small towns (who now push brooms at Walmart). Then they fettered our economy to child slavery (so men are edged out of jobs that are now done for pennies by children). And now they're denying their male employees' the honor of doing their duty to protect their communities.

Not to mention that they've taken the danger out of piracy.

Yet men keep going there for duct tape, fishing rods and ammo.

    Arrrrh.

I want the mom & pop shops on the town square back. At least small town pops could chase down thugs and run them out of town. But now we have big corporate dude a thousand miles away mandating that the men in our small communities can't go after armed thugs.

Sorry for the rant, but you hit a nerve. I'm from a small town, you know. I truly hate Walmart.
